Abstract

The total labor force in August 2024 was 124.99 thousand people, an increase of 6.03 thousand people compared to August 2023.

The Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) in August 2024 increased by 2.81 percentage points compared to the TPAK in August 2023.

The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in August 2024 was 2.57 percent, down 1.14 percentage points compared to August 2023.

The working population was 121.78 thousand people, an increase of 7.24 thousand people compared to August 2023. Most of the population worked in the agricultural sector (49.83 percent). When compared to August 2023, the population working in the agricultural sector increased by 0.92 percentage points.
